Proofreading — marked proofs, political memoir

Five pages of typeset proofs for a political memoir, read on paper and marked by hand in BSI proof-correction symbols — the standard marks a typesetter can act on without a covering note.

The pages carry the range of the discipline: transpositions, deletions, close-up marks, and a run of wrong-word catches of the kind a spellchecker sails past. Each correction follows the two-part convention the symbols require — flagged in the text, specified in the margin.
