Cover copy — All Day Cookbook
Tagline, 250-word blurb and endorsement placement for a gluten-free cookbook, written to sell it off a shelf at arm's length.
Cover copy for the All Day Cookbook, a gluten-free cookbook from Honey Buns, written to a set of fixed word counts: a tagline of up to 40 words, a 250-word blurb and a 50-word author biography, with endorsement quotes placed among them.
The blurb leads with the problem the book solves — keeping "your body healthy and your tummy happy" on a gluten-free diet — then grounds the promise in specifics: 100 recipes, a small female-run company built on sustainability, a founder who started out delivering cakes around Oxford in 1998. An endorsement from a gluten-free blogger supplies the outside voice: "bible for gluten free baking".
Every element is written to its limit, because on a cover the word count is the design.

Cover blurb (250 words)
It is difficult to keep your body healthy and your tummy happy at the same time – especially when it comes to a gluten free diet. With 100 recipes to satisfy every meal of the day (including all your between-meal cravings) complete with guides on how to make each recipe nut or dairy free, author Emma Goss-Custard guides you through healthy, delicious meals with ease. Indulge in a raspberry & white chocolate cakelet or whip-up some red peppers stuffed with cream cheese; whether you have a sweet tooth or an appreciation for something more savoury, there is a dish for you.
“There is an utter lack of gorgeous gluten-free recipes out there – I mean those that don’t rely on the predictable one-size-fits-all gluten-free flour. This book celebrates the great variety of naturally gluten-free flours, nuts, seeds, legumes and grains that can make free-from recipes delicious in their own right.” – Emma Goss-Custard
Honey Buns is a small, female run company dedicated to good food and sustainability. Passionate about accessibility to delicious food, Goss- Custard has created a wildly inclusive cookbook with 35 vegan recipes and simple suggestions for substitutions. With the added bonus of a “Stocking Up” section to help you navigate the supermarket and fill your pantry.
Change your perception of gluten free food one recipe at a time and discover delicious meals without the fuss.
